100 Mgy Patriot ethanol project in Illinois joins Monsanto Processor Preferred Network

In Illinois, the 100 Mgy Patriot Renewable Fuels corn ethanol plant in Annawan has joined Monsanto’s Processor Preferred Network, which now counts 80 ethanol plants among its members. Processor Preferred corn hybrids have a 2-4 percent higher yield in ethanol than commodity corn. The Patriot plant management said that they will need corn from 215,000 acres to supply the plant.
