In Germany, Bioneos announced plans to build a $20 million sugar beet ethanol project in Upper Bavaria. The plant will also utilize grains and potatoes as feedstocks. Construction will start next spring, with completion scheduled in Fall 2009 for the 8 Mgy capacity plant.
