India’s Simbhaoli Sugars completes 6 Mgy sugar ethanol expansion

In India, Simbhaoli Sugars announced that has completed construction of its 6 Mgy ethanol production expansion, bringing the total capacity at its Brijnathpur sugar mill to 20 Mgy. The company had distilleries at Simbhaoli and Chilwaria with a combined capacity of 15 Mgy, plus 29 MW of surplus power from co-generation plants onsite at the distilleries.
