Biofuels Digest Index drops 0.16 percent as Pacific Ethanol plunges

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.16 percent to close at 54.54.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 4.38 percent to close at $23.57, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) fell 15.74 percent to $0.91. Among small caps, Raven Biofuels (RVBF.OB) jumped 29.63 percent to $0.35. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
