Biofuels Digest Index falls 1.08 percent to 51.12 as Aventine plant delay bites

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.08 percent to 51.12.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.12 percent to close at $25.63, while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) fell 16.22 percent to $0.93. Among small caps, Nova Biosource Fuels (NBF) fell 13.33 percent to $0.13. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
