In Pennsylvania, Lake Erie Biofuels said that it has been chosen as a subject of a segment of the upcoming “Shades of Green” documentary on the Discovery Channel, and that the segment will showcase the company’s state-of-the-art biodiesel production process and the impact of biodiesel in combating climate change and sustainable living. Each segment of the documentary will focus on a different renewable energy, and the 45 Mgy Lake Erie facility is the focus of the biofuels segment. Filming will take place this month and the documentary will air in February 2009.
