In Washington state, GreenStar Products announced that the 8 Mgy Inland Empire Odessa Oilseeds biodiesel plant had completed its initial production runs of 36,000 gallons of biodiesel and has received its certification from the US EPA. Reports from an independent lab confirmed that the fuel met ASTM 6751 standards, a requirement in order to receive an EPA certificate to sell fuel. The 8 Mgy facility is expandable to 16 Mgy.
