In Brazil, Petrobras executive Paulo Roberto Costa said that the state oil company will export 160 million gallons of ethanol for 2008. The company said that Japanese exports will total 37 million gallons, with the remainder exported to the US. The company also said in a statement that it expects, by the end of 2008, to become a net oil exporter.
