US dried distillers grains to begin livestock feed trials in Australia

In Australia, CopRice, a local feed supplier, said that the first shipments of US-based dried distillers grains has cleared agricultural inspections, and CopRice-supervised livestock feeding trials would commence that could lead to a new market fro DDGs. The trials is an outcome of the 2007 DDGS conference in the US, that led to a US Grains Council trade mission to Australia earlier this year. The US Grains Council is sponsoring the Australian trials.
