Biofuels Digest Index gains 2.09 percent to 49.84 as large-caps advance

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 2.09 percent Friday to close at 49.84 as large-cap stocks recovered.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 4.96 percent to close at $25.83, while BioFuel Energy (BIOF) gained 17.65 percent to close at $0.40.  Among small caps, Raven Biofuels (RVBF.OB) lost 31.03 percent to close at $0.20.  Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
