Chevron invests $20 million in ethanol expansion in Philippines

In the Philippines, Chevron announced that it will invest $20 million to increase E10 production to meet mandates and local demand for ethanol blended fuels. The company said that it will increase distribution of E10 from 22 to up to 35 stations immediately, and will deploy E10 to up to 400 stations by February, according to the brand manager for the Caltex subsidiary. Chevron has a total of 840 stations in the Philippines, and has contracted with Basic Energy to supply ethanol for the blending operations.
