In England, Ineos announced that it has postponed plans to develop a $100 million biodiesel project in Grangemouth, Scotland. The company attributed the move to the “unprecedented volatility and uncertainty” in biodiesel fuel and feedstock prices. The plant had been planned with a capacity of 500,000 tonnes per year of biodiesel. Ineos will continue to operate its facility in Balyecourt, France.
