Today in Biofuels Opinion: “We’re excited that [Steve Chu] has an energy roadmap to bring to his office that he helped develop.

Dr. Richard Moss, vice president for WWF’s climate change program: “In the US, the alleged inaction by China and India is often cited as a reason that we cannot act [on climate change]. We need to recognize that these countries are not an impediment to progress, while at the moment, we are. We need to step up to the plate with our own commitment to emissions reductions at home and support for technology cooperation, adaptation, forest protection and mitigation actions in developing countries.”

Council on Competitiveness President Deborah L. Wince-Smith: “Steve [Chu] served on the Steering Committee that drafted ‘Prioritize,’ the Council’s 100 Day Energy Action Plan for the new Administration. We’re excited that he has an energy roadmap to bring to his office that he helped develop.”
