Lantmännen Agroetanol completes ethanol plant expansion to 55 Mgy in Sweden

In Sweden, Lantmännen Agroetanol has recommenced operations at its 55 Mgy grain-based ethanol plant in Norrköping, after completing a plant capacity expansion. The previous capacity of the plant was 15 Mgy; the expansion was completed in partnership with Austria’s Vogelbusch, which provides a technology that reduces steam consumption by 50 percent during the production process.
