In England, Ensus has confirmed that its 105 Mgy ethanol plant in Wilton will be operation by the middle of 2009. The plant will become the largest in the UK, easily bettering the 18 Mgy capacity of the British Sugar ethanol plant in eastern England. British Sugar is developing a 111 Mgy sugar ethanol plant in Hull in partnership with BP and DuPont that will open in July 2010.
