In Missouri, Laddonia Ethanol said that it had commenced a $2 million expansion effort that will increase production yields by 10 percent, from 45 Mgy to 50 Mgy. The plant is owned by POET, East Central Ag Products and North East Missouri Grain. Plant owners said that the expansion will create up to $3 million in additional demand for local corn.
