In Washington State, Inland Empire Oilseeds announced that it had commenced shipments of canola-based B100 biodiesel this week, with an initial shipment of 33,000 gallons. The facility has a rated 8 Mgy capacity, and the company said that it had commenced construction of an oilseed crushing unit that would supply half of the plant’s canola oil needs. The company said it would distribute fuels and crush oilseed from the Pacific Northwest, plus Montana, North Dakota and Alberta.
