Biofuels Digest Index gains 2.92 percent to 56.52 as ethanol advances

On Friday, the Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 2.92 percent to close at 56.52 as ethanol stocks advanced.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 1.25 percent to $29.19,  Biofuels Energy (BIOF) gained 11.43 percent to $0.39. Among small caps, Momentum Biofuels (MMBF.OB) gained 483.33 percent to close at $0.35. Overall, declines led advances by 7 to 1 for the day.
