Manitoba says it will be first Canadian province to establish biodiesel mandate

In Canada, the provincial government of Manitoba said that it would establish a biodiesel mandate in 2010, and intended to become the first province to establish a mandate. Both Alberta and British Columbia have announced biodiesel mandates that would take effect in 2010. The federal government had previously established a B2 biodiesel mandate scheduled to take effect in 2012.
