Biofuels Digest Index falls 1.82 percent to 55.33 as ethanol wanes

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.82 percent to close at 55.53 as ethanol and oil stocks retreated.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.18 percent to $28.34, while British Petroleum (BP) fell 3.24 percent to $47.46. Among small caps, Syntec Biofuel (SYBF.OB) gained 150 percent to $0.50. Overall, declines led advances by 5 to 4 for the day.
