Biofuels Digest Index falls 3.55 percent to 53.01 on ethanol, large cap slump

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 3.55 percent  to close at 53.01 as large caps and ethanol declined.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 3.79 percent to $26.90, while British Petroleum (BP) fell 3.03 percent to $45.70. Among small caps, Panda Ethanol (PDAE.OB) gained 47.37 percent to $0.28. Overall, declines led advances by 5 to 3 for the day.
