In Mississippi, Mississippi Investment Petroleum announced that it will construct a 30 Mgy biodiesel plant at the Port of Aberdeen. The company said that it will construct the facility in three phases, with the first 8 Mgy phase expected to become operational by June. The company will utilize poultry fat as a feedstock, and said that it is custom fabricating 90 percent of the equipment for the site.
