The International Energy Agency has released a draft version of a global advanced biofuels map, which can be viewed in preliminary form here. The map will be completed this year, then updated continuously. The map was commissioned as a part of IEA Task 39, which calls for a comprehensive overview of all cellulosic and advanced biofuels testing underway at survey time. The map is attached to an information database in which project owners submit information about capacity, technology, fuel, and status.
