In Washington, Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will meet US President Barack Obama in March, while the new US president indicated a desire to visit Brail during the summer. The Brazilian and US presidents set up the meeting during an initial phone conversation in which they discussed biofuels, climate change as well as US-Latin American relations.
