Biofuels Digest Index advances 1.43 percent to 52.48 on ethanol rally
The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 1.43 percent to close at 52.48 on an ethanol advance. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 1.08 percent to close at $28.09, while BlueFire Ethanol (BFRE.OB) gained 17.65 percent to close at $1.00. Among small caps, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) gained 5.77 percent to close at $0.55. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
