In Colorado, the Energy Information Administration reported in the latest issue of Monthly Energy Review, that renewable energy now accounts for 10 percent of domestic energy production, and increased by 8 percent between January and October of last year. More than 50 percent of renewable energy in the US is derived from biomass, according to the report.
