Biofuels Digest Index sags 1.89 pecent on ethanol dive

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.89 percent to close at 50.27 on ethanol woes.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 7.63 percent to $25.54, while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) fell 6.98 percent to $0.40.  Among small caps, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) fell 7.14 percent to $0.52.  Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
