Crescent Oil files Chapter 11, plan to add renewable fuel at 340 locations will change scope, timing

In Kansas, Crescent Oil has filed for bankruptcy less than a month after announcing that it would open up to 340 renewable fuel locations throughout the Midwest through its NewGen Fuel venture with POET and ICM. NewGen said that the goal of adding renewable fuels at hundreds of Crescent station locations remains intact, but that timing and scope may change.
