In Germany, Verbio has acquired a 25.2% stake in Neckermann Renewables Wittenberg, for an undisclosed prices, and said that the investment would expand and stabilize the company’s access to rapeseed feedstock. With the investment, the company gains access to the Wittenberg oil mill, which has a capacity of 200,000 tons of rapeseed oil. Verbio currently has 450,000 tons of biodiesel capacity, and 300,000 tons of ethanol capacity.
