Oregon’s Marion County becomes first to offer regular residential pickup of waste cooking oil for biodiesel

In Oregon, Marion County will become the first county in the nation to commence regular pickup of residential waste cooking oil, for processing into biodiesel. Other programs for residential WVO, including San Francisco, require consumer drop-off of grease, while Cary, NC has a seasonal pick-up service. The WVO will be converted by SeQuential into biodiesel.
