In Texas, the Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance announced a partnership with Organic Valley Family of Farms that would field test the SBA’s Baseline Practices for Sustainability in the feedstock, biodiesel production and distribution. Organic Valley confirmed that it will apply the practices outlined in the BPS document, and report data back to the SBA. In turn,m SBA will use the data to help develop a certification for sustainable biodiesel by 2010.
