Brazil’s IBI releases global biodiesel overview and company Q4 management report

ibiIn Brazil, Integrated Biodiesel Industries filed its Q4 management report for 2008, which includes a fascinating overview of the biodiesel market, growth in non-food feedstocks, the closing of “splash and dash”, the ten largest biodiesel producers, and European review mandates.

The report includes a comprehensive update on IBI investments in Irish jatropha producer South Cone Agriculture, Plc (which operates in Brazil and Africa) and in a manufacturing agreement between IBI and  XES Oleoquimica Ltda (Brazil) for glycerin derivatives, including a promising bio-solvent.
