Denmark’s BioGasol receives $13 million grant for 1.3 Mgy CE demonstration plant

In Denmark, the Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme awarded BioGasol a $13 million grant for a 1.2 Mgy cellulosic ethanol demonstration plant with a capacity of 5 million liters of ethanol per year. The EUDP previously awarded $5 million to BioGasol for the initial phase of the project. ”We are very happy with this grant. In addition to the grant itself we are proud of the verdict from the EUDP Board that confirms the potential of our technology,” said Birgitte Ahring, CEO at BioGasol.
