In Georgia, Atlanta Recycles announced that it has established a partnership with the Green Foodservice Alliance and the EPA to create the southeast’s first Zero Waste Zones. Phase One of the Zero Waste Zone will collect waste vegetable oil, compost and food residues from Georgia World Congress Center, the Hyatt Regency and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and recycle them into fuels.
