Biofuels Digest Index gains 0.89 percent to 49.77 depite dismal Wall Street

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rebounded 0.89 percent to 49.77 despite continued Wall Street broad market declines.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 1.09 percent to $27.84, while British Petroleum (BP) gained 0.81 percent to $41.05.  Among small caps, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) gained 29.03 percent to close at $0.40. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 2 for the day.
