National Clean Energy Project features Chu, Gore, Clinton, Pelosi, Pickens, Reid, Bingaman, more: live webcast today
The Center for American Progress Action Fund’s “National Clean Energy Project” forum will be held today in Washington, D.C., with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid serving as the Honorary Chair of the event that will gather 30 leaders to participate in the roundtable discussion on ways to increasing U.S. clean energy and reduce the US dependence on foreign oil.
The highly select group of participants include former U.S. President Bill Clinton, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change Carol Browner, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Chair Jeff Bingaman, oil executive T. Boone Pickens and environmentalist Robert Kennedy, Jr. The event will be webcast live at http://www.pickensplan.com/summit, commencing at 10:15am US Eastern time.
