In Texas, biocrude pioneer Sustainable Power announced that it will partner with Sustainable Produce to acquire Angel Eyes Produce of Massena, NY.
Sustainable Power will produce electricity from biomass to power Angel Eyes Produce’s Terraponics technology that grows fresh produce in “Super Grow Buildings,” that utilize hydroponic and hydroculture technologies, and achieve a higher productivity than outdoor growing.
Angel Eyes President Andy Maslin, said “We are not a green house or hydroponic operation using chemical soup to grow food. We are indoors in an impervious, secure facility free from all pathogens, disease, and unpredictable weather. We can grow as much on one indoor acre as we can on 100 to 500 outdoor acres, depending on the crop and ceiling heights of the building.”
