Ukraine to explore state-run energy company, 12 ethanol distillery system

In Ukraine, the national Cabinet has authorized the national energy agency (NERA) to study the creation of a state-owned ethanol production company that would produce ethanol at 12 distilleries in Vinnytsia, Poltava, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Zhytomyr, and Cherkasy provinces. NERA will explore the creation of up to three state-run companies.
