In the UK, Vivergo Fuels, a joint venture of BP, British Sugar and DuPont said that they have signed wheat supply contracts with Frontier, and feed marketing contracts with KW Trident, for the company’s 111 Mgy wheat ethanol plant that will commence production in 2010. The company said that the UK exports enough wheat each year to supply 5 percent of the country’s fuel supply.
