JDI under the lead of Dr Kobayshi did committed to have the same operation/activities in the other two LDC in the region Lao and Cambodia under the similar company names Lao Bioenergy Corporation and Cambodia Bioenergy Development Co.,Ltd. So far upto today there is nothing happen in both countries after few years commiment.. The enw surprise came with the new venture in Myanmar with the same format of empty promise to promote the Jatropha plantation follow up with down stream development f oil extraction and BDF production. In fact this Japanese company is only a research consulting company but they over blowed up themselves for various mega projects related to Jatropha but all end up with zero result. If the project in Myanmar would be the same as what JDI did with the two other countries earlier. There is no hope that the Jatropha in Myanmar will be successful as what they are trying to publicize.
