Biofuels Digest Index drops 3.25 percent to 43.23 on broad market fall

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, lost 3.25 percent to close at 43.23 on broad market jitters. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.93 percent to $25.91, while British Petroleum (BP) lost 3.57 percent to close at $34.54.  Among small caps, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRED) fell 14.29 percent to $1.26. Overall, declines led advances 15 to 1 for the day.
