Biofuels Digest Index drifts down 0.22 percent to 46.27 despite ethanol gains

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, drifted downwards 0.22 percent to 46.27 as ethanol advanced but other sectors wobbled.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) lost 0.18 percent to close at $27.45, while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) gained 23.08 percent to $0.32.  Among small caps, Cosan (CZZ) gained 7.17 percent to close at $2.84. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
