National Cattlemen’s Beef Association drops out of Food Before Fuel Coalition; will keep focus solely on eliminating government intervention in renewables

In Washington, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association said it has withdrawn from the Food Before Fuel Coalition to “concentrate its efforts on eliminating government intervention in the renewable energy market,” according to Hoosier Ag Today. The NCBA executives praised the coalition for raising awareness of the massive losses sustained by the cattle industry due to the rising cost of cattle feed.
