At World Biofuels Markets, Marc Londo of the Energy Research Center of the Netherlands presented a comprehensive update on indirect land use change and other biofuels policy issues including wild swings in commodity prices. Londo also identified that feedstocks will represent only 20 percent of costs for second generation ethanol compared to more han 80 percent for first-generation biodiesel.
