Biofuels Digest Index slips 0.20 percent to 48.95 on ethanol slide

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.20 percent to close at 48.95 on ethanol declines. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.26 percent to close at $28.14, while Cosan (CZZ) fell 7.17 percent to $2.46.  Among small caps, Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) lost 10.00 percent to $0.18.  Overall, declines led advances 8 to 5 for the day.
