Biofuels Digest Index falls 2.25 percent to 47.85 on large cap swoon

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 2.25 percent Friday to close at 47.85 on large cap declines. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 2.49 percent to close at $27.44, while British Petroleum (BP) fell 2.01 percent to $39.40.  Among small caps, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) gained 23.08 percent to $0.48.  Overall, declines led advances 8 to 3 for the day.
