Singapore waste cooking oil biodiesel venture opens new plant

In Singapore, biodiesel microprocessor Alpha Biofuel opened its new plant in Tanjong Penjuru, and signed an agreement with the the Environmental and Water Technology centre at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

The company produces biodiesel from waste cooking oil processes in the metropolitan area, and retails biodiesel at $1.00 per liter at locations throughout the island.
