Milan Biodiesel may be sold to Crestwood Energy; local safety officials give A-OK on safety fears raised by ex-employee
In Michigan, troubles surfaced at Milan Biodiesel, which now has a proposed takeover by Crestwood Energy.
A dispute emerged between what the company called a disgruntled former employee, Gary Zack, who has alleged numerous safety concerns at the plant and alleges that repayment of investments have not been received. Local safety officials said, after investigation, that they could not verify any serious safety issues but Zack said they missed numerous violations. Zack offered to meet John Bolz “to ‘bury the hatchet’ work out a business resolution, and strategize.”

I worked at the plant for 85% of its conception and production. Even without the knowledge that I have of the reasons why it sold I think that any green energy plant is better sold for the possibility of use then would it being dismantled and sold for scrap.
