In Switzerland, aviation and sustainability executives are gathering in Geneva for the fourth Aviation and Environment Summit that will discuss and review new opportunities for sustainable aviation biofuels following a series of successful biofuel flight tests organized by Boeing along with various engine makers and airlines. Last year, top industry leaders signed a declaration of cross-industry cooperation on sustainable alternative fuels, an approach that flourished this past year with four flight test partnerships and will continue with new tests by JetBlue among other airlines this year, including initial flight tests by Airbus.
