Canadian pulpmills fall to 70 percent of capacity; woodchip prices plunge

In Canada, the North American Wood Fiber Review is reporting that Canadian pulpmills have reduced their operating rates to less than 70 percent of capacity, and wood chips are falling in price, especially in Western Canada, where BC and Alberta had the lowest wood chip prices in North America for the first quarter.
